Row is Peloton’s smart-connected rowing machine that gives users instructor led, full-body workouts with form and output feedback in a sleek, compact footprint. Designed for all spaces, the fitness product features ultra-silent, smooth rowing mechanics, a collapsible monitor arm, robust structural elements, and a vertical storage solution to minimize footprint even further.

Working with Peloton from EVT through PVT, I was the ultimately the Mechanical Engineer directly responsible for the majority of all external cosmetic injection molded and die-casted components, including the large-format body panels, stabilizers, structural feet, and wheel brackets (60+ Components and Sub-Assemblies). As DRI in a JDM model of development, my responsibility was the transition of the component and assembly designs from prototype to production, primarily focusing on the validation of the designs and manufacturability of the designs at high-volumes. Throughout the process, the role demanded a high-level of execution in process-specific DFM, 2D control drawings, GD&T tolerancing and tolerance analysis, and capability based improvements to manufacturability through 3D and 2D design changes. In addition to maintaining a fast-paced schedule through multiple builds and staffing shifts, I also helped the client develop new engineering processes and capabilities by developing a GD&T guide for our manufacturing partners, driving the adoption of new release review templates, and documenting the processes for new PLM workflows.
